Job Description
As truck mechanic within Group Martens you are responsible for the maintenance and repairs of the fleet (70 cars + 100 trailers) of our transport company. You have a diverse range of tasks. You mainly carry out mechanical work for the trailers: replacing brakes, lights, repairing bachés. You make your own planning so that all vehicles are followed up periodically. Since the cars and trailers are often only stationary on weekends, you will always work half a day on Saturdays.
This includes:
- Maintenance and repairs to trucks, tractors and trailers
- Follow-up of repairs
- Perform periodic checks of the fleet
- First point of contact for fellow drivers
- You work closely with our dispatchers
- Administration of vehicle follow-up
- Perform depannages
Profile
- Training in mechanics or at least 2 years of experience as a truck mechanic
- Good knowledge of mechanics
- Can work independently
